With the Black Jaguar Foundation, sustainable entrepreneurship in Brazil

Entrepreneurship can make the world a bit more beautiful and better. Many enterprises already have a sustainability policy to meet climate goals. In this role, Chambraz has officially become a Supporting Partner of the Black Jaguar Foundation. We are pleased to bring this unique project to your attention.


The Black Jaguar Foundation is a non-profit organization that, together with the local population, is committed to the restoration of the Amazon rainforest and the Cerrado savannah in Brazil.

BLACK JAGUAR FOUNDATION


The Black Jaguar Foundation restores nature along the Brazilian Araguaia River, which runs perpendicular to the Amazon River through rainforest and Cerrado savannah. By actively restoring and protecting nature along the river, a lifeline of connected nature is created: a biodiversity corridor. This benefits all the animals living in the area. In total, a length of 2,600 kilometers of nature is restored. This is a distance from London to Moscow!

The Black Jaguar Foundation invites farmers to participate in nature restoration on their land and provides education on the benefits of increased biodiversity. The Black Jaguar Foundation leverages Brazilian law, which mandates that a certain percentage of land must be reserved for nature. If a farmer decides to participate, the foundation covers all costs and provides all technical expertise.
