We had the pleasure of facilitating the meeting between representatives of the Black Jaguar Foundation, Marco van der Ree and Dick de Kruijk, during a visit to the Consulate General of Brazil in Amsterdam. We were warmly welcomed by Consul General Alexandre Vidal Porto and Minister-Counselor Alexandre Scultori Silva. Our special thanks to the Consulate for their reception and valuable exchange of ideas. The Black Jaguar Foundation presented its project, highlighting the importance of environmental restoration, biodiversity preservation, and water management, generating positive economic and social impacts in local communities. The urgency of climate change and water scarcity reinforces the need for immediate actions towards forest restoration. We are grateful for the Consulate's support in giving visibility to the work of the Black Jaguar Foundation and for the opportunity to discuss sustainable solutions for our planet. This meeting symbolizes the strengthening of relations between Brazil and the Netherlands, reflecting mutual commitment to sustainable development and environmental preservation. With the support of influential institutions like the Consulate General of Brazil, we can expand the reach of our initiatives and mobilize the necessary resources and knowledge to tackle current environmental challenges. This union of efforts highlights the power of international cooperation in promoting significant and lasting changes. We thank our partners for this fruitful collaboration and are excited about the next steps in this journey.
