Establishing a landmark in Brazil-Netherlands trade relations.

At the recent 5th Latin America and Caribbean Business Meeting in Amsterdam, Chambraz, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brazil in the Netherlands, reaffirmed its vital role in fostering trade relations between Brazil and the Netherlands. The event was marked by the significant presence of Luiz de Barros, President, and Joquebede Mesquita, First Secretary, highlighting Chambraz's readiness to pave the way for new business opportunities and emphasizing the importance of collaboration and shared knowledge.


Held at the Hotel Arena - Amsterdam on March 28, 2024, the event focused on key issues such as sustainability, energy, and the agri & food sectors. The meeting featured notable experts and representatives, including Wampie Libon, Director of the International Business Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs From the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Annette Wijering, Acting Director of International Programs and Director of the Department of International Business at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), Greetje Frankena, Deputy Head of the Economic Research Department at Atradius DSB, Opal Morales, PhD Researcher and Corporate Lawyer at OBM Legal Consulting, and Prof. Dr. Kees Koonings, Professor of Brazilian Studies at the University of Amsterdam and Professor of Development and Conflict Anthropology at Utrecht University. The wealth of knowledge shared by these speakers provided profound insights, setting the stage for a more detailed exploration of the commercial opportunities in these emerging markets.
